Abstract

This paper reports the synthesis and automatic separation of solvent dispersible silver and platinum nanoparticles in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(triflylmethyl-sulfonyl) imide ([BMIM][Tf2N]) ionic liquid (IL) using oleic acid as the major capping agent.
