Abstract

This study focuses on the development and application of computational tools for conducting LES simulation of turbulent flows on massively parallel machines. The aim of this paper is to study the feasibility of conducting such computations as well as the physics of turbulent wake flows from a fundamental point of view. The implementation of the code is carried out on the CM-5 with MIMD parallel computing methodology.
