N2 - We describe scattering-type near-field terahertz imaging measurements in which the optical excitation spot is laterally displaced from the probed location. We demonstrate both non-local terahertz emission and non-local optical-pump, terahertz-probe measurements. This family of techniques are powerful new tools for studying anisotropic transport in nanostructures.
