N2 - We demonstrate the first 'nonlocal' nanoscale NIR-pump THz-probe measurements of semi-insulating GaAs using a scattering-type scanning near-field microscopy technique. We observe temporal shifts in the photoexcitation response which correspond to lateral offsets in the pump spot.
