Abstract

We present a new scheme for speed control of induction motors, which does not require flux measurement. Under the assumption of known motor parameters, we give a proof of closed-loop stability and provide an estimate of the region of attraction. We also present simulation results comparing the new scheme with an input-output decoupling and linearization scheme, which requires flux measurements.
