Non-equal neighboring model for factorials (mod p)

Abstract

We study the non-equal-neighbor model introduced by Broughan and Barnett (2009) to study the distribution of the residue classes of factorials modulo p and obtain an estimate which shows that the average analogue sequence has a Poisson distribution.
