Abstract

Coherently coupled photonic crystal vertical cavity laser arrays have been developed and studied. Dynamic coupled mode theory is applied from the perspectives of monolithic injection locking or parity-Time symmetry considerations. We have found new predicted phenomena which agrees quantitatively with theory which may enable new applications.
