note = "Funding Information: This is a retrospective observational study using the Nationwide Inpatient Sample (NIS) database. The NIS database is the largest inpatient database sponsored by the Agency of Healthcare Research and Quality and is maintained by the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project. We used the NIS database from 2012 to 2018 to identify patients who underwent TAVR, only SAVR, and SAVR + CABG during the index admission. International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Edition (ICD-10) procedure codes were used to identify the above procedures. Co-morbidities, In-hospital complications, and outcomes were identified according to the ICD-10 diagnosis codes. Three groups were created based on the procedure performed during the index admission. Procedural trends were compared among the 3 groups from 2012 to 2018. t Test was used to compare ordinal variables whereas chi-square test was used to compare categorical variables. Univariate analysis was performed to compare co-morbidities and in-hospital outcomes. Statistical analysis was performed using STATA 17 corp (StataCorp LLC, College Station, Texas). Statistical significance was assigned to p <0.05. ",
