National Insect Week Blog

Research output: Other contribution

Abstract

Throughout National Insect Week from 21 – 27 June, invited international entomologists will be posting details about their everyday work and experiences to give readers a valuable insight into the life and interests of a person in their specialist field. Cutting-edge leading entomologists, postgraduate students and even an 11-year-old insect enthusiast with hissing cockroaches will all be contributing to the daily blog aimed at all ages and levels of knowledge about entomology. The blog will ultimately provide readers with an idea of the breadth and variety of entomology, whether as a profession or as a hobby both here in the UK and abroad. There are likely to be plenty of witty anecdotes and light-hearted observations during the week so even if you’re not a dedicated entomologist you’re bound to find the blog a fascinating, insightful and entertaining read. Log on each day and discover the wide variety of experiences, places and responsibilities that an interest in insects really can lead you into.
