We propose an efficient noniterative sinogram reconstruction solution based on multicoset sampling theory for the missing-cone problem in CAT imaging. It is shown that such an scheme can provide image quality comparable to previous methods without restrictive assumptions on the image being acquired. Furthermore, it uses only part of the non-missing projections which can potentially further reduce x-ray exposure and results in faster operation.
