Abstract
A unique aspect of the 1981 Cooperative Convective Precipitation Experiment (CCOPE) was the simultaneous collection of multi-parameter measurements from several different radar systems. Toward the end of the experiment, several remarkable storms passed through the CCOPE network. This paper deals with observations of one of these storms - the hailstorm of August 2.
