Abstract
We describe a simple algorithm for estimating the 3-D motion of isolated targets in infrared image sequences. The algorithm is based on analyzing the changes in the shapes and the relative positions of segmented image regions. Experimental results of applying this algorithm to single IR images and to an image sequence are presented.
