Abstract
Recent developments in synthetic methods and supramolecular chemistry have led to well defined structures. New characterization techniques have helped to advance this field. Recent work highlights the interplay between molecular architecture and the processes of spontaneous and induced organization, which have led to the rational design of ordered molecular materials.
