Abstract

The model study of the Minnesota River is presented. The model study was conducted using Froude similarity with a horizontal scale of 1:200 and a vertical scale of 1:40. Crushed walnut shells were used to model the bed sediment. This report is intended to summarize the problem and report on the results of the model study as well as to present proposed corrective measures.
