Mid-infrared beam propagation and modulation in extraordinary transmission gratings

We have characterized laser beam propagation, with up to 10W power, through an extraordinary transmission grating fabricated on GaAs. The grating was designed to have a 10 μm fundamental resonance at the metal/dielectric interface.
