Abstract
The mode coupling theory (MCT) was used to investigate gelation in polymer particle suspensions. The proposed theory utilized two component polymer reference interaction site model (PRISM) theory to provide the static correlation functions necessary to quantify the attractive and repulsive forces. It was found that the gel boundaries depend on polymer concentration and size asymmetry ratio at high particle volume fractions. Remarkable scaling behavior was found for the elastic shear modulus and localization.
