Abstract

A precise measurement of the Λc+ lifetime using approximately 1340 fully reconstructed Λc+→pK-π+ and charge conjugate decays is presented. The data were accumulated by the Fermilab high energy photoproduction experiment E687. The lifetime of the Λc+ is measured to be 0.215±0.016±0.008 ps.
