Abstract

The temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity, thermal resistivity, and thermoelectric coefficient G(T) have been measured in high-purity aluminium between 1.5K and 6.5K. A quadratic temperature dependence was observed for these quantities below 4K rather than the cubic dependence usually expected from the breakdown of Matthiessen's rule.
