LOW ENERGY NEUTRAL HYDROGEN ATOM EMISSION FROM TOKAMAKS.

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

Recombination and charge exchange in tokamaks result in the emission of neutral hydrogen atoms from the plasma. Detection of these atoms allows the diagnosis of numerous plasma parameters, including ion temperature profiles and recycling rates, and the study of atomic processes.
