Local government publications: An Iowa survey

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The results of a survey of the collection development of local government publications in Iowa libraries and library-related agencies are presented. The Iowa survey data are compared with those of earlier surveys in Illinois and Tennessee. Municipal publications are found to be the most likely to be collected, but less than half of the respondents in all three surveys collected local publications of any kind.
