Abstract

The voices of individuals who are incarcerated are missing from Black education research. Drawing from Black Critical theory, Imprisoned Black Radical Tradition, and the art of what we term BlackCrit portraiture, we center voices from sites of incarceration. Implications and recommendations are provided for Black education.
