Lattice thermodynamics and Monte-Carlo studies of the chiral phase transition

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The statistical mechanics of Lattice Kogut-Susskind fermions is discussed and some finite size effects mentioned. Monte-Carlo simulations of fermions interacting with gauge fields have been performed which clearly show chiral symmetry breaking at small μ, T and its restoration as they are increased.
