Abstract
The aim of this paper turns around milestones of Kostas Axelos, contemporary and revolutionary Greek philosopher. The emphasis is on his detachment from Marxism after his youth membership; and also on his strong criticism from some Heidegger’ insights. Axelos lands in – after inner analysis of Western Metaphysics – a ‘glossy’ meaning of Being. A ‘glossy’ meaning for which man must plunges in the ‘becoming river’ and giving up any aspirations of civil and political change.
