Abstract
The stationary state of a phenomenological model of two-dimensional nucleation-controlled crystal growth is found, using an operator formalism akin to quantum field theory, and the implications for the growth of polymer crystals are briefly discussed. The method also enables a correspondence to be drawn between this problem and that of directed percolation and Reggeon field theory.
