Jugando con el derecho: movimientos anticoloniales puertorriqueños y la fuerza de la ley

Research output: Book/Report/Conference proceedingBook

Abstract

Covering the period from the US-invasion of 1898 through the first two decades of the 21st century, Jugando con el derecho deepens José M. Atiles-Osoria’s questioning of the law as a device of colonial power to neutralize and depoliticize the Puerto Rican anticolonial movements, even if there have been some sporadic court triumphs. The book is significantly enriched by the author’s interviews with 46 historical fighters for Puerto Rico’s decolonization.
