Abstract
The results of molecular beam spectroscopic studies of intramolecular vibrational energy redistribution (IVR) in thiophosgene which include dispersed fluorescence and stimulated emission pumping data are presented. The trends in lineshapes and decay transients at relatively low (<4000 cm-1) and high (>8000 cm-1) energies are compared. A laser system which include a feedback mechanism capable of producing the shaped pulses necessary to control IVR in molecules of this type is also presented.
