Abstract

The proliferation of the Internet and the World Wide Web has created many technical and managerial opportunities and challenges for researchers and managers. However, the increased information complexity and diversity have created a strong demand for utilizing and managing the ever-increasing information effectively. This can be resolved by an efficient, effective and scalable techniques for utilizing and managing Web information. The proper use of technologies for Web information modeling, environmental scanning, data mining, brokerage, security, among others, must be studied.
