Abstract

Mathematical modeling is a very useful tool to (relatively) quickly and inexpensively ascertain the effect of different system and process parameters on the outcome of a process. It minimizes the number of experiments that need to be conducted to determine the in uence of various parameters on the safety and quality of a process.
