title = "Interpolation of multidimensional random processes with application to fluid flow",
abstract = "This paper investigates vector-valued multidimensional random process interpolation with application to interpolating the velocity fields of turbulent fluid flow. Three-dimensional particle positions in a turbulent flow can be measured experimentally. We model the velocity field as a vector-valued multidimensional random field. Based on this model, an algorithm to interpolate the velocity field of a turbulent flow is developed, which minimizes the mean squares error of linear estimation from known velocity points, utilizing special characteristics of the spectrum of turbulence.",
