Abstract
Education is a foundational domain of social life that as such must take a leading role in addressing the issue of diversity in contemporary and rapidly changing society. In this article, we provide an approach on how to map the differences of learners in education, we examine the historical approaches of diversity so far, and we offer a suggestion for an inclusive pedagogy that comprises elements of all the previous approaches, while having a different end goal, that of inclusion and productive diversity.
