Abstract

The authors fabricated a three-electrode Ti:LiNbO//3 directional coupler switch that can electrically compensate for refractive-index fluctuations and thereby reduce optical crosstalk. Using three independent voltages they have achieved a significant decrease in switching crosstalk.
