Impact of control theory on QoS adaptation in distributed middleware systems

Abstract

An integrated and scalable control model for QoS adaptation is introduced. It is shown how the model can benefit the quality control in distributed middleware systems. A prototype middleware system called Agilos verifies the soundness of the control model.
