Abstract

We discuss several interesting relationships between the tem-poral and the spatial dimensions which we encounter in image sequence processing: (i) equivalence of temporal filtering and spatial filtering; (ii) estimation of motion by relating time differences to spatial differences; and (iii) equivalence of time sequences and stereo (spatial) sequences.
