Abstract
To develop a comprehensive solution to the problems that exist in the basin, the Illinois State Water Survey has initiated a hydraulic study. This ongoing research includes collection of hydraulic, hydrologic, and sediment data as well as the utilization of a computer model to asses the scour and deposition within the stream systems of the basin. The results of the study will be used to develop alternatives to improve the conditions that currently exist within the basin.
