Abstract

Human-computer interaction (HCI) is one of the foremost challenges of our society. New paradigms for interacting with computers are being developed which will define the 21st century and enable the world to communicate and interact effortlessly and intuitively. In this short survey, we explain the major research clusters comprising the state of the art, and indicate promising future research directions.
