H bumpless transfer under controller uncertainty

Abstract

The internal model based H full information steady-state bumpless transfer synthesis procedure is developed and demonstrated to provide near optimal stability and performance robustness for a much larger class of controller uncertainty than the earlier developed LQ state/output transfer, while retaining the same simple transfer operator structure. The method is extended to transfer in the quasi-stationary oscillatory regime by choosing the appropriate internal models.
