Abstract
Recent advancements in nanotechnology have allowed for the emergence of integrated polarization imaging sensors. These sensors capture polarization properties of the optical field in high resolution and at every imaging frame. Signal processing algorithms for polarization imaging sensors are at its infancy and mandate new research in order to take advantage of the capabilities offered by this class of sensors. In this paper, we present gradient based interpolation algorithm for polarization sensors and evaluate its performance against a group of previously published interpolation methods.
