Abstract
The article presents information on an archaeological investigations at Fort de Chartres site in Randolph County, Illinois. It discussed the application of geophysics in this archaeological setting. It mentions how noninvasive nature of geophysical survey allows for large scale, efficient survey, quickly revealing the extent of archaeological deposits, and the nature of sub-surface remains.
