Abstract

Desulfurization with tributylphosphane converts the ferrocenepolysulfide 1 into three‐dimensional network polymers. These consist of ferrocene subunits interconnected by oligosulfide crosslinks. Gel permeation chromatography on an analogous polymerized alkyl derivative of 1 indicates molecular weights in excess of 106 Da. •=Fe. (Figure Presented.)
