Abstract

GPS-Photo Link, a tool developed by GeoSpatial Experts of Thornton, Colorado, enables efficient geocoding of digital photographs and to create Web pages and GIS layers automatically. The GPS card provides 10-meter accuracy and can make use of Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), which increases accuracy to 3 meters. To provide the user with a much-needed overview for the bundled system, GeoSpatial Experts also supplies an over-view that guides the user through the basic set up and the use of the Caplio Pro camera with GPS, camera software and GPS-Photo Link. Expansion and customization of the data options would make the system more suitable for production mapping.
