Abstract
A generalized PMCHWT formulation is derived based on the contact-region modeling for multi-region problems. As such, the given formulation eliminates the necessity of using the number-of-unknown-reduction scheme and thus is ready for a fast solver. The key for the formulation to be robust for contact regions and closely spaced regions is the accurate evaluation of the Κ operator, including the residue term and the near-patch integration.
