Femtosecond plasmonic optical tweezers using gold bowtie nanoantenna arrays

Abstract

We demonstrate plasmonic optical trapping based on a femtosecond-pulsed input source and gold bowtie nanoantenna arrays. The femtosecond plasmonic tweezers allow for simultaneous manipulation and two-photon fluorescence excitation of trapped particles.
