Abstract
A method for calculation of fatigue damages of a non-linear plate subjected to random excitation was presented. The response of the plate was obtained by an equivalent linearization technique. The fatigue damages were estimated by the Rain-Flow counting scheme in combination with stress analysis in time domain. The computational effort was significantly reduced as compared to direct simulation of the non-linear system.
