Fast time-domain finite-element-boundary-integral method for 2D electromagnetic transient analysis

Abstract

A new time-domain finite-element method (TDFEM) is proposed for analyzing two-dimensional (2D) electromagnetic transients. Numerical results to demonstrate the superior accuracy and efficiency of the method are discussed.
