Abstract
Several fast algorithms for wave-scattering solutions, developed at the Electromagnetics Laboratory at the University of Illinois, are reviewed. The computational complexity of each of the algorithms is given, together with some simulation results, validations of simulation results, and CPU-time comparisons with methods that require Gaussian elimination. A brief mathematical description of an algorithm is given, together with a discussion of the significance of such research work.
