Abstract

As a way to encourage deep engagement with facet analysis in next generation catalogs and new search and discovery environments, this paper will discuss the approach taken by the project Folktales, Facets and FRBR, funded by a grant from OCLC/ALISE. This project works with the special collection of folktales at the Center for Children's Books at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the scholars who use this collection and seeks to uncover solutions that will enhance access to folktales.
