Abstract

The article offers an analysis on the Old English literature entitled "Genesis A." It highlights the restoration of peace in heaven after the fall of Satan and the rebel angels and offers a comparative perspective on the depiction of the confirmation of the angels in “Genesis A” and other Old English literary works such as "Quaestiones super Genesim" by Pseudo-Bede, "The Advent Lyrics" and "The Dream of the Road."
