Experiments on the 3D disordered Bose-Hubbard model

Abstract

An optical speckle field is used to add fine-grained disorder to a 3D optical lattice. We have begun to constrain the disordered Bose-Hubbard phase diagram by studying Bose-Einstein condensates in a disordered lattice.
