Experimental evidence for wolf shifts of cyclostationary fields

Abstract

Previously predicted shifts in the generalized spectra of cyclostationary fields are demonstrated experimentally. These results apply to stochastic fields with periodic statistics, e.g. the pulse trains of comb spectroscopy or fields produced by mode-locked lasers.
