Abstract
This essay explores how Esther Valiquette’s work constitutes an original narrative within which technology, autobiography and the reappropriation of science are articulated. Le Récit d’A., Le Singe Bleu, and Extenderis question the interferences between the body and technology. Both Valiquette’s videos and film are a self-portrait that unfolds the possibilities of “art-science” in the AIDS epidemic.
